The crawler is a software platform intended to automatically search large parts of the Internet for coupon integrity-related issues 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As of this time, we have received brand lists from 9 CIC Members. There is no additional charge for this effort. If you have not done so already, please transmit your list of brands to the CIC at email@example.com.
27 CIC Members have registered for the management report webinar scheduled for Wednesday, September 12th from 2:00 to 3:00 pm EDT.
Counterfeit Coupon Arrests
Seven individuals have recently been arrested for their involvement with counterfeit coupons.
We reported 114 US eBay auctions for termination last week for a total of 818 in July.
The following is a snapshot of Counterfeit Notifications from July 17 – July 26th:
Number of PSAs created: 182
Number of PSAs posted on the website (Members): 207
Number of PSAs posted on the website (Non-Members): 15
Number of EWF Entries: 1,144
More PSAs were posted on the website than created during this time period. This is due to the time it takes for participants to review the draft PSAs. For example, some PSA drafts transmitted to participants before the reporting period were approved and posted last week.
